GAA

The playing and development of Gaelic games in and through the Primary School has been a traditional and vital custom over many, many years.  It is founded on the strong and vibrant relationship between the GAA Club and the Primary School at local level, and is dependent on the good will and voluntary effort of Primary School Teachers.
Gaelic Football
We have 2 football teams (1 boys and 1 girls) that partake in weekly training sessions at lunch from January- June. All students are welcome, from complete beginners to the more experienced players, who play with a local team. We play in the Fingal School’s League and have been lucky enough on two occasions in recent years, to make the final in Parnell Park.
We are also lucky to have a GAA coach who visits us weekly from O’ Tooles GAA club. Throughout the year, he works with students, from all classes, to develop and improve their GAA skills.

Hurling/ Camogie
In recent years hurling and camogie have become more popular with the students of our school. We now have enough pupils to field a mixed team in the Fingal League and are really enjoying progressing each year.
