School opens at 8.50 and finishes at 13.30 for Junior and Senior Infants. All other classes finish school at 14.30. There are two lunch breaks during the day; a short break from 10.30 – 10.40 and a longer break from 12.30 to 13.00.
There are extra – curricular activities carried out in the school after hours, including art, music and sport. These clubs are a great deal of fun and give the children the opportunity learn new skills and make new friends.
The school has many IT resources. Each classroom is equipped with an interactive whiteboard with online access.
We have a class set of the latest Ipads which all classes are using for various curriculum activities, particularly in the core subjects of English and Maths. In addition, they are used to educate and promote safety online.
